Custom Plastic Fabrication From Your Drawings

Plastic fabrication is the process of CNC engraving, shaping, and assembling raw plastic materials—such as polycarbonate and acrylic—into finished, ready-to-use products.

Using techniques like CNC machining, laser cutting, bending, bonding, and thermoforming, plastic fabrication allows businesses to create custom parts that meet exact size, strength, and performance requirements.

It’s the fastest, most reliable way to turn plastic sheets, rods, or tubes into functional components for safety machine guards, acrylic display box, polycarbonate windshields, industrial, and engineering applications.

Our capability extends to high-volume production on quality and precision requirements, providing that businesses with the exact polycarbonate solutions required to meet their unique operational challenges.

We Fabricate Custom Products Including

CNC machining room

Custom Plastic Fabrication

Precision machining for custom plastic parts with holes, slots, pockets and controlled dimensions. Suitable for guards, panels, windows, brackets and equipment components.

Join machined or formed components into boxes, covers, displays and finished OEM assemblies.

ice-rink-barriers frame

Plastic Sheet Metal Frame Assembly

It combines the lightweight characteristics of plastic sheet with the strength of metal frame, suitable for various applications, such as Ice Rink Barrier, Outdoor TV Enclosures, and Sound Noise Protective Barriers.

polycarbonate bending

Create angles, flanges and simple enclosures from flat sheet without full forming tooling.

Silk screen printing applies ink on polycarbonate or acrylic surfaces through a mesh screen and stencil. It’s for adding logos, designs, or text on your plastic products.

die cutting plastic sheets
Significantly reduces bowing and internal plastic material stress by using large, computer-controlled die-cutting equipment, with specifications tight to +/- .005 inch. This efficiently produces consistent, custom-shaped parts.

Thermoforming is suitable for curved covers, housings, domes and larger formed components. Material, wall thickness, draft angle, tooling and production quantity are reviewed before quotation to determine whether thermoforming is more economical than machining

Vacuum Forming plastic sheets

Vacuum forming heats and molds polycarbonate sheets or acrylic sheets over a mold with vacuum. It’s perfect for large, heavy-gauge polycarbonate components, such as dome skylights, igloo domes

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

We can provide materials that meet UL 94 flame ratings, FDA requirements, RoHS/REACH compliance, and other industry-specific standards upon request.

To receive a quote, please send us a drawing or a simple sketch via email, or contact us directly. Projects vary significantly based on individual requirements, so sharing your ideas will help us provide an accurate quote.

Our standard lead time is 1-2 weeks, but it may vary depending on the size of your project.

Yes. We offer UV-stabilized and UL 94 flame-rated polycarbonate options, along with supporting certificates.

Of course, you’ll need to clean the pc sheets with the proper cleaning method, such us using Fiber Cleaning Clothes, and to also be careful to never use such soapless sprays. Glass cleaning spray and other such products contain harmful microscopic abrasives that will cause fine scratching and eventual yellowing of the polycarbonate sheet.

You can also see our blog: How to clean the polycarbonate sheets.

If you need an acrylic product that resists scratching, then ask us about our abrasion-resistant polycarbonate sheet.

Yes. We follow strict quality control processes, and ISO 9001 certification is available to ensure consistency, traceability, and reliability in production.

Absolutely. We can issue CoC, dimensional inspection reports, material test reports, and SDS (Safety Data Sheets) with your order.

Please provide the part application, preferred material, thickness, dimensions, quantity, required tolerances, surface finish, coating or printing requirements, and any assembly needs. A drawing or 3D model is strongly recommended. If the material or manufacturing process has not been specified, Excelite can review the application and recommend a suitable option.

Excelite primarily fabricates polycarbonate and acrylic sheet, including selected coated and application-specific grades. Other plastic materials may be considered depending on the part design, required performance and manufacturing process. Please submit the material specification or describe the operating conditions so availability and suitability can be confirmed.

CNC machining is generally suitable for flat or solid parts that require precise holes, slots, pockets, edges or controlled dimensions. Thermoforming is typically more suitable for curved or three-dimensional sheet components, particularly for repeat production. The recommended process depends on the geometry, material, thickness, tolerances, surface requirements, tooling cost and order quantity.

Excelite can evaluate both prototype and production requirements. The appropriate process depends on the part geometry, material, tolerances and required quantity. CNC machining is often practical for prototypes and lower-volume orders, while thermoforming may be more economical for repeat production when tooling is justified. Production feasibility and minimum quantities are confirmed during quotation.

Please submit the drawing or CAD file available to you when requesting a quote. Both 2D drawings and 3D models may be used for engineering review. Accepted file formats and any conversion requirements should be confirmed with Excelite before submission, particularly for complex geometry or revision-controlled parts.

Available tolerances depend on the material, part size, thickness, geometry and manufacturing process. Please identify critical dimensions, tolerance requirements, inspection points and applicable standards on the drawing. Inspection records, material documents or other quality documentation can be reviewed and agreed upon during quotation rather than assumed to be included with every order.

Yes. Depending on the application and part design, Excelite can evaluate functional coatings, printing, finishing, bonding, hardware installation and multi-part assembly. Available options may include abrasion-resistant, anti-fog, ESD and anti-glare surfaces. Requirements should be specified in the drawing or RFQ so compatibility, processing sequence and availability can be confirmed.

Packaging and shipping are planned according to the part size, surface sensitivity, quantity and destination. Protective film, separators, reinforced cartons, crates or other protective methods may be recommended to reduce scratching and transit damage. Freight method, delivery terms, shipping documents and export requirements are confirmed during quotation.
