Dome Skylights

Commercial, Public building Skylights, daylight solutions, Custom dome skylights

Product description

Excelite® skylights feature prismatic sheets to bring in more usable 100% diffused natural light and eliminate glare and hot spots. Its proprietary dome design captures more light at low-light levels throughout the day.

Polycarbonate unit skylights are available with single or multiwall glazing and are ideal for commercial and industrial spaces. Manufactured with an aluminum frame to ensure easy installation, polycarbonate skylights are available thermally broken or with a thermal barrier for projects with a higher thermal requirement, and are an excellent option for both new builds and refurbishment projects.

Excelite skylight is a versatile roofing solution with durability, flexibility and UV resistance.

Excellent Thermal Insulation

  • U-VALUE – Measures how well a material conducts heat. For polycarbonate sheet, it shows the heat transfer, Its units are the W/(m2°C). A lower U-value means better insulation.
  • R-VALUE – Measures a material’s resistance to heat flow. A higher R-value indicates better insulation. It’s the inverse of the U-value.

4mm clear float glass has a U value of 5.9 m2K/W, 4mm polycarbonate 5.29 m2K/W, means same thickness polycarbonate sheet has better heat insulation. Polycarbonate Roofing sheet is an incredibly energy efficient and a fantastic insulator.

Dome Skylights Plastics

polycarbonate sheets

Polycarbonate Solid Sheets

Polycarbonate is an excellent choice for dome skylight, polycarbonate windows for its durability, light weight, UV protection, and high impact resistance.

Prismatic polycarbonate sheets

Polycarbonate, PMMA Prismatic Sheets

Prismatic sheets with higher visible light transmittance and optimal light distribution, produce daylighting which reduces up to 75% of daytime electric lighting.

multi wall sheets

Polycarbonate Multi wall Sheets

Polycarbonate multi wall sheets allow more effective thermal insulation.
